Hi! Thanks so much for visiting! We’re Lori and Matt, the faces behind Oakwood Invitations. And there in the middle is Waffles. He’s a Shih Tzu Dachschund. And he's our executive motivator and company-keeper. Inspiring all kinds of stationery since 2012.

Lori started creating stationery in the Spring of 2012 with an Etsy shop known as Lily + Jude and has since worked with clients all over the world. She started out with DIY printables and have since developed a passion for more than just the design of invitations. Stationery isn't her only passion. She’s a graphic designer–and over the last ten years she has designed anything and everything. Throw in a children's book or two and there you have it! Lori’s hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, getting outside, painting, downing coffee, playing with Waffles, jamming out to 70s hits and obsessing over penguins.

Our Story

When Lori met Matt, the stationery passion had fallen by the wayside – because life! But with a little brainstorming and lot of hard work, we decided to revive it and rebrand as Oakwood Invitations. Blame it on our love of downtown Raleigh and it’s pockets of historic architecture. We’re inspired by the weathered and worn but also the modern and minimal. Matt brings a wealth of knowledge in the business world having majored in finance. He also spent seven years in the U.S. Army and continues to serve in the Reserves as a Major.

We’re excited for our new brand and hope to continue creating beautiful, timeless stationery.
